So for the past week, I've been looking at replacing my Volvo. It needs some suspension work, and I thought it needed a new clutch. I was pretty much comparing buying a new Mazda6 Touring to leasing a BMW 320i.
I was about to order the 320i, but then I payed a visit to my local indy shop. As it turns out, my clutch was just having a bad day - it'll need to be replaced in the future, but it's fine for the time being.
That said, with the help of my local indy shop, the following is getting done to the Vo.
- New Rear Springs
- New Front Control Arms
- Kaplhenke Bushings
- iPD Rear Anti-Sway Bar
- iPD Strut Conversion
- Snabb Intercooler and Inlet
- Tune
- Boost Gauge Installation
-New Front Shock
All the work starts next week. I'm beyond excited.

Thats awesome!
I was also going to suggest, if you do need later a newer car, a stick shift C30.

I looked at a C30 when buying my R, and it wasn't all that great. In terms of looks, you can't beat it, but the steering is more dead than in my R, and the stick was absolutely awful.
If I get anything in the future, it will most likely be brand spankin' new!

Yeah, I saw some reviews of it that had similar opinions to yours. I do like the odd factor about it.

I like the odd factor about Volvo's. Period. They come off as sensible, safe, and somewhat boring. Little do people know...

Like Saabs.
Oh man I so want to beat douchebros in BMW's with Saabs at stoplights.
